Product and Licence Terms

1. Supplier and contacts

RACE15 Studio is supplied and licensed by SkaudeTuning Oy, Finnish Business ID 3660993-4, Vaahterakuja 1 B 73, 33840 Tampere, Finland. Calls cost your operator's normal mobile rate; we add no service charge.

When paid checkout opens, Paddle will act as authorised reseller and merchant of record for checkout transactions. The buyer's payment transaction will be governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms; these terms govern the RACE15 Studio product and licence supplied by SkaudeTuning Oy. Paddle handles buyer payment enquiries and returns; SkaudeTuning Oy handles product and licence support. The applicable Paddle company and final transaction details will be shown before payment.

2. Product and licence

RACE15 Studio is a Windows 10/11 application for supported EDC15 engine control units. Free Preview lets you explore the recorded demo and temporary calibration edits without payment. Preview does not include saving or exporting calibration changes.

When Full sales open, Full will be a one-time, non-subscription licence tied to one physical PC. The selected EDC15VM+ and/or EDC15P+ family entitlement, Full tools and future RACE15 Studio software updates are included. New ECU families added later are separate purchases. One support-managed transfer to a replacement PC is included if requested within 12 months of the first Full purchase for the original PC. This does not limit statutory rights.

Live ECU features depend on a supported J2534 adapter, drivers, wiring and the matching RACE15 bootloader patch. Consult the compatibility information before purchase. A readiness check is advisory and does not guarantee a particular hardware setup will work. Statutory rights concerning non-conforming digital content remain in force.

Full is intended as a licence without a scheduled expiry date. The current software still needs periodic online validation and can use a signed offline licence for up to 30 days after the last successful renewal. If we permanently retire the licensing service, we will give at least 90 days' notice and provide an update that lets purchased entitlements continue offline. We will not open paid sales until the delivery and continuity commitments on this page can be met.

3. Price, order and delivery after launch

The pricing page describes planned options; it does not take payment or create an order. When checkout opens, the final order screen will show the selected licence and ECU families, currency, applicable taxes and other mandatory charges, any discount and the total price before you commit to pay. The purchase will be completed through Paddle Checkout. There is no recurring subscription charge for the Full licence described here.

After Paddle confirms a valid payment, SkaudeTuning Oy will deliver the purchased licence and family entitlements electronically to the PC used for the order, promptly and no later than 24 hours after payment confirmation. Paddle will provide the payment receipt; we will provide the licence. If delivery is delayed, contact licensing@skaudetuning.com. No paid checkout will open until the delivery path has been tested.

4. Withdrawal, refunds and problems

Read our Refund and Withdrawal Policy before purchase. Paddle transactions are also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Any consumer consent to start digital delivery during a withdrawal period must be a separate, unticked choice and will be confirmed on a durable medium. A withdrawal right is lost only if the applicable law's requirements are met. Neither these terms nor any acknowledgement removes mandatory remedies for defective or undelivered digital content.

5. Support, privacy and law

Product and licence support is available at the addresses in section 1. Do not send private device keys, vehicle VINs, ECU files or CAN recordings by email unless support specifically asks for a secure method. Our Privacy Notice explains data processing for the current service; it will be updated before online sales open.

These supplier terms are governed by Finnish law. Mandatory consumer protections in the buyer's country of residence continue to apply. We will accept paid orders only in territories supported by the checkout and licence delivery systems. Business disputes are heard by competent Finnish courts to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
