Privacy Notice
1. Who is responsible
SkaudeTuning Oy, Finnish Business ID 3660993-4, Vaahterakuja 1 B 73, 33840 Tampere, Finland, is the controller for the processing described here. Contact info@skaudetuning.com about privacy. We have not appointed a data protection officer.
2. Data, purposes and legal bases

If you do not provide an email address, we cannot send the Preview activation message. If the PC does not provide the required device proof, we cannot bind a licence to it.
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising profiles or run advertising pixels on this website. The current public pages do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics or Zaraz scripts.
3. Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare hosts the public website, licensing service and database, provides DNS and helps protect requests. Purelymail delivers Preview activation email and hosts our support mailboxes. We disclose data to authorities where legally required or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
These providers and their subprocessors may process information outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare publishes its Data Processing Addendum, which describes transfer safeguards including EU standard contractual clauses where applicable. Purelymail is operated by Add Rabbit LLC in the United States; its Privacy Policy describes its service data and log retention. Ask us at info@skaudetuning.com
Paddle Checkout is planned but not active. We do not currently receive Paddle buyer, transaction or payment data through this website. Before online sales open, we will describe the actual checkout data flow here and link to Paddle's Privacy Notice.
4. How long we keep data
- Unactivated Preview requests are removed by the application's cleanup after 30 days. After successful activation, the application clears the Preview email address from its request record.
- Device and licence records are kept while a licence is active and while needed for support, legal obligations or claims. There is no general automatic deletion of expired or revoked licence records. We review their need at least annually in January and remove or anonymise records when no longer needed.
- Short term Preview request rate limit records are removed by cleanup after about one week.
- Support messages are kept while the matter is open and thereafter only while needed for legal duties or claims. Their need is reviewed at least annually in January. Purelymail states that its diagnostic logs are deleted after 30 days; its mailbox data is retained while the account is active, subject to its policy.
- Cloudflare processes technical logs under its service settings and retention practices. Contact us for details relevant to a specific request.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. Send requests to info@skaudetuning.com. We may verify your identity before releasing licence or device data. You may complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman or another competent supervisory authority.
6. Automated checks and changes
The licensing service checks licence status and device proof automatically. A conflict can prevent automatic activation; contact licensing@skaudetuning.com for review. We do not use email-based purchasing profiles for these checks. We will update this notice when processing changes and show the new date on this page.
